Shipping & Returns
Shimona is a make-to-order brand and each piece is made especially for you when ordered on our online store. Estimated dispatch time for each product is mentioned on the product page. Orders are usually dispatched & delivered within 8 to10 working days and all the heavy embroidered pieces are usually dispatched between 4-6 weeks.
Once ordered you will receive an email confirming the details of the order-product(s) prdered and delivery time. All orders are made in house and shipped from our studio in Jaipur, India and will be delivered to the shipping address mentioned at checkout.
We ship worldwide using trusted delivery partners like DHL , Fedex and Aramex.
Once shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with the tracking number and link to shipment partner website for tracking. Your order can be tracked using the tracking number on the shipping agency’s website.
SHIPPING WITHIN INDIA:
We offer free shipping for all orders within India through registered courier companies.
For deliveries within India taxes and duties are included in the price of the products listed on the webshop.
SHIPPING OUTSIDE INDIA:
The shipping cost is calculated at the time of placing the order depending on the destination, weight and volume of the products purchased. We charge between INR 1500 to 3000 for internation shipping. We also offer free shipping for orders above INR 25,000/-
For deliveries outside India , custom duties and local taxes are not included in your order and are over and above any shipping and handling charges paid at checkout. These have to paid by the customer to our shipping partners at the time of delivery. The amount of duties and taxes depend on the policies of your destination country.
Incase our shipping partner is unable to deliver the shipment due to non-receipt by consignee or incorrect contact details and address (as provided by the customer) and the shipment is returned to us in India, the cost of custom duties , local taxes and shipment return are to be paid by the customer.
CHANGES/ CANCELLATIONS:
If you wish to cancel your order, you may write to us within 24 hours of placing the order at care@shimona.in.
The payment will be returned in the same mode as received within 14 working days. Once an order goes into production cancellation and refund is not possible.
UNFORSEEN DELAYS:
Please note that our delivery timeline does not include unforeseen delays due to natural disasters, war, calamity , epidemic or situations outside of our control. In such circumstances, your order will be processed and dispatched after our production and supply chain resumes smoothly when any of the above events have passed.
RETURN OR EXCHANGE:
We hope you love everything that you order from us because we absolutely make every product with love and care. However as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be completely accurate.
Each piece is made to order and hence we do not accept return/ exchange but we ll be happy to alter the same for you. Please note, we also do no accept returns if the size ordered by the customer is incorrect. If upon receipt of your order, you find the product to be damaged in transit please drop us a line. We would be happy to provide a refund or exchange only for damaged products. All products should be returned with the tags intact and in their final packaging, in an unwashed and original condition.
Once the merchandise has been checked, you will receive an email confirming that your return has been accepted. Cost of sending the return courier has to be borne by the customer.
Please be careful while trying on items. Item should be returned in an unused condition as SHIMONA holds the right to not accept returns in case product appears to be used or damaged. Refund amount will not include shipping charges
Pieces bought in sale/ special pricing are non refundable and non-returnable / exchangeable. In case of a fit issue we can alter the size for the same style. All orders placed during sale will be delivered in 15-20 working days. We do not accept any return, exchange or size alteration on discounted/ sale orders.
